In the Shack

Well if you read my bio you will know this is my 30th. year as a ham and have enjoyed every minute of it!

I started with CW and have stayed with it all these years, I will say that 99% of my on air is on CW in the lower portions of the bands. I try to help as many New hams as i can, But it seems as if they have there own way?

Mark it up to progress i guess? HI HI

K3/100 Elecraft

In the evenings i use the K3 and the K2 for all my CW

TS-830s

I use the TS-830s in the Dx window (3.790>3.800) at night and use it on cw

I love the front-end and the sound it gives! The newer rigs just can't do it.

K2/100 s/n 6989

My K2 is setup for CW only! I do have it on a Keyboard for the contest.

With Rheumatoid Arthritis in my hands and fingers just Can't (never could do) 30/35 wpm

All my qrp is done with paddles

K1 Elecraft sn.02289 4 Band 40,30,20,15 ATU

I built this kit in a weekend and have never looked back, The front-end on this rig is GREAT for CW I have completed my WAS/qrp with this rig

K2 Elecraft sn.06989 80>10

To start with The only thing Elecraft has gave me was 3 of the BEST cw rigs I have ever had and used in the last 30 years... And I have used allot of them! Please remember this is my opinion only.

With the very low noise floor and combination of the filters, I have been able to dig out and hear signals that i have never heard before with any other rig.

The combination of these 2 Rigs I have my DXCC/qrp with 109 countries confirmed so far ........and still looking hi hi
